Guy Ritchie had a passion for films from an early age. He first directed numerous music videos and commercials (Dior Homme, Nike, H&M, Beats….). He made a name for himself with his dark comedy « Lock, stock, and two smoking barrels », which won eight international awards. He then directed the two first « Sherlock Holmes », with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law which were a huge success and for which he has been nominated several times as Best director. He also directed a remake in live-action of « Aladdin » and the same year « The Gentleman » which received generally positive reviews from critics and was also a commercial success. He is currently working on a new film «The Interpreter » starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
