JC Chandor is an American film and commercial director, producer and screenwriter. After spending 15 years directing commercials, JC Chandor shot his first film in 2011 “Margin Call” starring Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore and Simon Baker, among others, which was nominated for an Academy Award.
Chandor is also known for writing and directing the films "All is Lost" in 2013, "A most violent year" in 2014 and "Triple Frontier" in 2019, for which he also received a large number of nominations.
In 2020, it was announced that JC Chandor would direct a film based on Kraven the Hunter for Sony’s Spider Man Universe.
