Philippe André

Renowned for his ability to craft captivating films, ranging from breathtaking epics to more intimate narratives, Philippe André is an international director with a unique talent for balancing memorable performances, striking art direction, and stunning special effects. His visionary work consistently resonates with audiences worldwide.

His first steps into directing began at a film school in Paris, where he made music documentaries, which later earned him video commissions from the Museum of Modern Art and the Centre Pompidou. His music videos have won numerous awards, including the Victoire de la Musique (Paris), the CADs, Brit Awards, and MOBOs (UK), and have been screened at the American Cinematheque in Hollywood.

With an illustrious career spanning global commercial campaigns, Philippe is a multi-award-winning director (Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, London International Awards, New York Festival TV Advertising Awards, D&AD, BTAA, Epica, Eurobest, Clio, and Ciclope).

His short films have been screened alongside Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown, shortlisted for the Oscars, showcased at film festivals worldwide, and featured in institutions such as MoMA and Tate Modern.
