Marcel Wepper

Marcel Wepper was born in NYC in the 80’s and raised in Miami and Bogota, Colombia in the 90’s. He is a true child of the end of the 20th century: influenced as much by MTV as he was by the films, Broadway theater and Vogue magazines his mother introduced him to as a kid.

He attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (Drama) and has a Master’s in Film/Video from CAL ARTS.

With tastes as eclectic as his upbringing, Marcel is equally happy reciting scenes verbatim from “Death Becomes Her” as he is passionately discussing the final scene in Antonioni’s “L’Eclisse”.

Over the past decade, Marcel Wepper has developed a filmmaking style which is distinctly his own: Funny, performative but ultimately personal. He has created films for brands such as Fendi, Berluti, Lancome and Louis Vuitton; including a long standing collaboration at the latter with Menswear Artistic Director, Virgil Abloh.

Marcel now lives in Paris, France.
